The Most Fun Had At 9000 Feet!
Race Information
A scenic, long distance run starting at 9,000 feet in the mountain
community of Rollinsville. This dirt road course parallels South
Boulder Creek and a rail line. Challenge yourself over three hills
and a gradual incline to the summer town of Tolland at mile five.
Then, enjoy the satisfaction of completing a 10 mile run as you
turn around and head back to Rollinsville. If you choose to take
a bigger challenge, continue along another 2.5 miles of high country
beauty and awesome Continental Divide views for a longer 15 mile
course. We've added a 10k for those of you who love to run this
distance. Great training for the Golite
Boulder Backroads Marathon. The 5k run is a shorter version
of the course. Or enjoy the festive family 1-mile Family Fun Run.

A Message from the Coltons
Joe loved the world because every day was special, exciting, new
and full of discovery. Whether he was in his backyard, the desert,
the mountains, on rocks or rivers, every moment was a joyful exploration.
Learning about life in this way brought him great contentment and
pride and at six years old he had the knowledge of love for life
that few of any age will ever reach but to which we should all aspire. |
